Antoine Thompson just can't escape bad press. I guess that comes with the territory when you gain a reputation as being Western New York's biggest scam artist. This guy needs to be stopped. Here's his latest: He was in a car accident on the way to Albany a few years ago. At the scene he reported being ok, but complained later of neck pain (red flag). Three years later, he files suit against the driver and the trucking company. Then he introduces legislation in the Senate that expands the definition of "serious injury" in a personal injury lawsuit. He introduced legislation that would directly benefit his own pending case.This guy is so stupid, he doesn't even have the common sense to have one of his colleagues introduce the legislation!

In addition, Thompson's new bill would cover any legal action pending at the time of passage — including his own. A jury would determine factual issues surrounding the claims, the bill also says.

Here's what the lawsuit claims:
The suit said the senator was "painfully and seriously injured," that he was "rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled," and that the injuries "may result in permanent defects."
Well, at least they got one out of the four right.
This guy is a serious embarrassment to everyone in this area. What he is trying to pull with this phony legislation, needs to be investigated. I hope when the word of this scam gets out, he gets what he deserves-nothing.
